The student should develop competence in the practical
situation in the various departments of the hotel and and develop analytical
skills and fluency in communication. They should be able to apply what they
have learned in an industrial environment implementing the principles and
practices of study. The student should establish personal and learning
objectives to be achieved in the work place.

JPIHM arranges industrial exposure
training to students for
22 weeks duration in renowned hotel groups of India.
On returning to the institute after conclusion of the
training schedule, the student will be required to submit a project report
which will focus on specific topic, the student will analyse the situations
as prevalent in the industrial location, relate the analysis to establish
theory, draw conclusions, recommend possible changes, and justify them in
context.
If any adverse report received from the hotel during the
training period, the student will be restricted from the institute
immediately
Whether getting employed or managing own ventures, this
industrial training programme enables the student to face any situation in
the industry with presence of mind.
The student are exposed to the real life problem
situations and are encouraged to the real life problem situations and are
encouraged to solve them by putting the classroom inputs into
practice. Student learn learn the job fast during the on-job-training in an
environment that is simulating and challenging. They also get a feel of the
real life situations and the various external business environment factors
affecting the business. Further the students will undergo a de-briefing viva
consulted by the teacher-in-charge, and will also carry out a final
presentation of the report with the use of audio-visual aid as applicable.
